They are actual designs directly printed onto primed doors. We removed the hardware, laid them on the flatbed and print whatever we like on them, then reinstall. Some work as a Trompe L’oeil effect giving the illusion of space beyond, and some are simply beautiful pictures taking you away.

Most of these I printed myself, but several were designed and printed by my coworker Chelsea Sorrentino.
The question arose, “Could we print on ceiling tiles?” SO we tried it. The process lends itself to certain images because the pitted texture comes through the surface.
The wonderful thing about having an 8’ x 10’ printer on hand is that there is always something to print. Here are some posters I printed from PBS for a co-workers wife’s 12th grade, English Lit classroom in 2018.
