An old high school friend, Mike Kulnich, mentioned my name to the owner of this billiards club when she asked if he knew anyone who painted murals. I haven’t spoken with him on over twenty years! Amazing.

Over the COVID months I developed a design and we waited until businesses were allowed to open again in MD.

The first logo is of the Green Room Billiards Club. I came one night and traced the image using an LCD projector.

Gary Ricko, seen here, was the owner of the pool hall until his sudden passing two years ago. Since then, his wife Chris and daughter Chantelle have been running the business in his stead. In an incredible turn of events, I happened to paint this portrait on the two year anniversary of his death…to the day! both ladies showed up to see it, tears were shed.

I am mind boggled to think of everything that had to occur to make it so that on that particular day, I was painting that particular portion of the mural. God is truly a wonder if we just stop to think about what goes on without our knowledge! His Holy Spirit is constantly working behind the scenes.

Here is Chantelle. This was a special project.

You can see this mural from the highway. I want to get some drone footage soon.
